I didn't like how the formatting for my short story looked, so I tore it open and reformatted the whole darn thing, uploaded the new file, waited for it to go through the "Publishing" process, and... Nothing. Well, not exactly nothing. If I download the HTML file or preview it from the KDP menu, it works just fine, but if I try to look at it from a Kindle device or in the Kindle cloud, it shows the old version. Even the Look-Inside feature hasn't been changed.
Is the update process one that takes longer than 24 hours, or is it supposed to be completed once the title is "Live" again? Because the title is "Live", the updated file is in my preview, and I don't think anything actually changed from the consumer side of things.
