This is pretty cool IMO.

So, a while back GameFly bought up Direct2Drive and has since begun it's own digital game market. Pretty cool.
Then they apparently launched this feature called Unlimited PC Play (AFAIK it's still in a kind of open beta), which offers certain games for free download.
These are the complete games, available for free to members.
I just discovered this when I was going back to my account to download ME and ME2 again for some replays.

Obviously the game selection is limited, but there are some pretty nice gems in it: Saint's Row 2, AC: Director's Cut (kinda meh on the PC, but at least they have AC), Hitman, Thief: Deadly Shadows, King Arthur: The RP Wargame, Prince of Persia, Drakensang, etc.

It's one of those things that sounds good in theory, but unlike the Sega Channel back in the day, I simply can't think of more than a handful of PC games I'd care to play again (and the ones I can think of, I own already). That may just be because I prefer JRPGs over ARPGs though, and not a comment on the quality of PC games in general.

Still, that's pretty cool- thanks for the info.

I'm pissed with them right now. I owned a fair number of titles on direct 2 drive, and a lot of my titles aren't showing up that I bought.

They aren't showing in your Purchase History? Have you contacted customer support?
Some titles haven't transferred yet from what I understand, neither my ME2 DD Edition or DA:O Collector's is appearing, along with a few others, but I'm not ready to rage at them yet, especially because I still have the receipts.

OK, so I found both my special editions in EA's Origin. I imagine they're there because of EA being their publisher or some such.
So if you're missing any EA games Dommo, you may want to check Origin, just in case.
