Greetings all,

TD here with an amazing opportunity for any interested writers or artists with experience in erotic work. Hellbound is a collaborative project brought into being by myself and three other talented individuals. It is intended to be a tactics/rpg game similar in nature to Evil Genius or the Dungeons series and will be truly massive in scale. Unfortunately, it's a bit much to deal with between just the four of us. Thusly, we have decided to open the floor to any interested parties. The project is completely volunteer. We do not offer money for work done for it, but any work done is the sole property of its creator and is merely loaned to the project. Exceptions may occur with commissioned work, but that's a case by case basis. We have no deadlines and you are free to back out of the project at any time with no hard feelings.

A note: We do have some restrictions on fetishes with this particular work. There will be no gore, scat, or so-called "heavy" vore (which includes chewing). Technically, Shota and Loli stuff is on this list too with provisions. If you look below we have a "Child-Like" body build. That means that a character LOOKS like a child but is, in actuality, not a child at all. An example are the twin vampire lords we have planned. They are centuries old, but stuck in childish forms until you meet the requirements. If you have a fetish and aren't sure about it, feel free to ask us and we'll decide as a group whether to include it or not.

Backstory:

Earth has become a battlefield between the forces of the Heavens and of the Hells. The Apocalypse has come and, true to the ancient texts that describe it, the world has been forever changed. Demons prowl once-thriving cities, raping and soiling the innocent to create lust-mad servants who spread their dark will. Angels conscript the untainted to fight against them and bring law to the land. And few, far too few, humans stand apart and neutral from the growing conflict. Even removing oneself from the conflict is no certain escape however for, as a result of the fevered magical battles between the two sides, the ethereal fallout has created new monsters in the shape of ancient ones and brought unspeakable things into the world.

You begin life as an unassuming human, raised in a village hidden deep within the mountains. Little do you know, however, that you have been chosen by the Emperor of Deceit to carry his "seed" that will, in time, sprout into a darkness unequaled. Taking a bit of his power and melding it to your very soul, he hopes to create his harbinger. A messenger of lust and perversion. This is a gamble, however. Should you accept and master your taint and turn towards the light, the tide will turn and that same power he has given you will become a beacon of law. And the end of demonkind.

Demonic Souls:

Your soul is your most important attribute to start. It influences how your character changes physically as you become more and more tainted. This is not, however, exclusive to your transformations. If you take no items to induce change or become exposed to spells that alter you physically, the changes to your character will be minor and easily hidden. It's only when you start using items and spells that you start going into the truly physically warping stuff. Your soul just tells you what types of transformations you are most in tune with and what skills you favor. There are (currently) four types of souls, though this is liable to change. They are as follows.

-Humanoid Souls
These are the souls of succubi, incubi, banshees, and other Human-like demons. It is the most malleable of all souls and the most open to transformations to other types. Humanoid-exculsive transformations include the demonic eyes, horns, and wings. All of which will have their own special abilities.

-Beast Souls
These souls are in tune with the souls of creatures like wolves, cats, equines, and pretty much anything that flies, swims, or runs under the sun. Beast souls favor strength and toughness altering transformations, such as clawed digits and heightened senses.

-Nature Souls
These souls are most in tune with the forces of the natural world, giving the character a bonus to magic. Examples of monsters with nature-based souls are Djinns, Naiads, and Dryads. Transformations can include bark-like skin, a watery texture to the skin, and even hair made of flame.

-Insect Souls
Insect souls have bonuses to reproductive actions and fertility. Transformations include things like a chitinous hide, extra appendages, and venomous fangs.

Skills, Traits, and Abilities

Skills are a general accounting of how good you are at something. Whether it's fighting, conversations, magic, earning Psyche, whatever. The higher the skill, the more successful you will be. I don't have a set number of skills right yet, as that's a micromanaging deal and I'm still in the "big picture" mode.

Traits are things that people familiar with CoC will already know all about. These change your play style based on your stats and skills. They can be purely positive (something like Cat's Grace, which gives you bonuses against trip attempts), purely negative (like Cumbucket, which makes you addicted to cum), or a mix of the two (Dark Oath is an example. It gives you a bonus to Lusty actions at the expense of making you more Notorious.) Although I do have a good idea for some traits, it is by no means complete. Again, big picture first.

Abilities are your basic stats and whatever extra skills or magic you can do. Strength corresponds to striking power, Perception to Accuracy, etc. The one you won't be familiar with is Deceptiveness. Deceptiveness is how well you can hide your nature from your enemy. Get it high enough and you can freely mingle with the other side, so long as you avoid certain events.

I think the abilities will be as follows:
Strength (Hit power, grappling power, etc)
Smarts (Warding against Spells and Problem Solving)
Charisma (How pretty you look and how convincing you are in conversations)
Wiles (How well you deceive others and protect your identity)

Faith vs. Lust

The game is built around a morality scale. There is no truly "right" or "wrong" decision, though people in the world may see things differently depending on who you talk to. For simplicity's sake, the two sides of the morality coin are termed "Lust" and "Faith". Actions that keep with demonic nature increase your lust, while abstaining from these or doing the "moral" action will increase your Faith. This meter is where your transformations come into play.

Get a high enough Lust bar and you'll start seeing your body warp to a more demonic form. Reverse that, and you could very well become a living saint, complete with ethereal wings and an aura of righteousness. Once you reach the furthest end, you are not locked there. It is as entirely possible for an Archangel to fall from grace as it is for a Demon Lord to repent and seek the Light. You can go back and forth as many times as you like, the only penalty you incur is the change of stats.

Currency, Upgrades, and Bases

The currency for the game is something called Psyche. Bits of souls that are left over after you have seduced, defeated, or otherwise incapacitated your enemy. You collect Psyche and then utilize it for upgrading both your own abilities and stats.

*There will also be the addition of an actual monetary currency utilized for the use of upgrading your home, dealing with the Black Market, and buying personal items and essences. More details to come.*

Upgrades are anything that can be used to enhance your performance past normal limits. These can be personal upgrades, like a magically enhanced suit of armor, or they can be general upgrades applied to your home, such as new rooms and the like.

Bases really deserve their own section, as they are my favorite idea thus far. Your base is essentially where you live, but it does more than that. It can offer you passive benefits and active abilities, based on the upgrades you buy for it. You can outfit your home with stuff like a breeding room/training room (so you can grow/outfit your own army), a torture/chapel room that can be used to generate Psyche, or even a false family to hide you if you wish to stay out of the fight. These are only some ideas and more will, no doubt, be drawn up eventually. There are three bases to start with:

-Overgrown Church (perfect for holding mass or luring the innocent)
-Unused Warehouse (lots of room to work with)
-Nondescript Manor (Small manor in the middle of suburbia. Great location to start at)
-Remote Cave (Starts out small, but has greatest growth potential. Hard to defend though.)

I think this might belong in Non-Paying markets. In the absence of objections I will move it there in the next day or two.
