Ok, So I was in Game Stop buying my 3DS a couple of months back and I went ahead and bought Cave Story 3D. I played it, beat it, then tossed it aside with a certain amount of disappointment due to poor graphics and animations (gameplay itself was great though). Flash forward to now and I finally download the original version on the PC.
Let's just say my jaw dropped, just for shits and giggles.
The original has so much more charm in both it's 8-bit graphics and chiptune soundtrack, so much so that I command you to get on Steam (or the WII shop channel 'cause it's there too) and buy it. For just $10, you won't regret a single penny. Unless, of course, you have no soul.
P.S. Cave Story is a platforming shooter much in vain of Metroid. Or something like that.
