Anyone Having Password Trouble?

I have a report from a user whose entry of the usual password to enter the NC-17 parts of the board, including Erotica - Share Your Work, was working, then stopped.

Can some of you who do not accept a cookie which allows you in automatically, but instead have to type the word in for each entry, see if it's working for you?

Just tried it and didn't have any problems getting into erotica SYW or the NC17 area. This is my laptop and I have to type all passwords/usernames etc manually.

Works here. I just went to the NC-17 section for the first time (having just learned there were bordellos here) and it opened up just like a....a....well, you know!

Trevor, wondering if the Capitol Steps still use "gorny huys" in their political satire.

That's a local cookie issue Maryn.

They have stale cookies.

They need to
1. Make sure they know their AW login.
2. Log off AW using the link on the top right that says Log Out
3. Delete their cookies (If they're using Windows and have the forum favorited or bookmarked, they may need to delete the bookmark (they can copy the URL first) because Windows stores two copies of cookies if the address/site is favorited/bookmarked)
4. Empty their Web browser
5. Completely Quit their Web browser
6. Log back in to AW
7. Log into the forum using the password

I'm the one with the issue, and I will try your solution as soon as my husband is free to help me. I don't know where to find said cookies! (I'm pretty sure they're not the ones in the Girl Scout package by my recliner.)

You could try this link instead of step 3, and then pretend you did it by hand, and complete the rest of the steps.

Just tested it and no trouble at all here. My computer wants to use the main SYW password for everything on AW, so I have to manually enter the erotica passwords.
