Hello. I realize this is a book club thread, which I LOVE the idea of and will be participating in quite often, but I am looking for YA angst at the moment and wasn't sure where else to put this question. So hopefully it's okay right here (and I'm seeing others asking for title suggestions too so I followed suit)
I've seen some random suggestions in other threads for YA angst stories, but because I'm writing my own YA angst story, I would like some choice suggestions for stories to check out. I've been writing mine since '07 and it is in it's first draft. So I suppose you could say I'm looking for good examples to follow, but I'm also looking to just enjoy a good story without having to randomly pick one or two from the ones I've seen suggested elsewhere.
I wrote down probably 10 or more titles. And that's fine. But would anyone like to suggest to me, and anyone else that comes looking with the same desire, some good YA angst that would be a shouldn't miss out on type of book?
Thanks!
(and if there's an actual thread for this, please forgive me! I looked around and couldn't find it)
edit- meh!! I must be getting old because right after I posted this I DID realize there's a spot for this question in the Young Adult thread. SORRY!!! :/
Well, hm. So that this post isn't totally wasted- I'm currently reading the Switched saga by Amanda Hocking, and loving it. AND I'm now reading The fault in our stars by John Green, and am enjoying it too.
