I was looking through the screenwriting section of share your work and it looks dead. I posted a few pages from my short and got little views and no feedback. Is that a dead give away that it's horrible or do people mostly swap scripts on here?

I posted a reply, if you're interested in looking at it.

If the screenwriting section is like most, the people whose work gets a lot of feedback are those who have given a lot of feedback.

For serious. I don't know you, and have no idea if you critique here, but if you do, it can help a lot.

So can putting your logline and a link to your work scene, asking for critique in your signature line, for a while anyway.

Maryn, helpful at times

It doesn't look that dead there, to me. There's loads of shared pieces that have received plenty of feedback in there. But, I don't know what percentage of the regular visitors here write screenplays, and it seems like one of those types of writing best critiqued by people who know what they're doing, so I suspect there isn't the same level of casual critters like myself popping in there.

And actually, looking at the area there aren't as many new threads popping up in there as in other SYW sections, so traffic will be a little slow.

Of course, if you've posted up work and people just aren't noticing it, you can always pop in to the SYW Starbucks and let people know.

I see one critique in SYW-Screenwriting.

Curious, there's your answer. Got to give 'em to get 'em.

Maryn, who critiques in her genre, but not as much as she should
