Here it is again ;)

What are you all up to at the weekend?

Today, finish work early on Fridays so I am going to be outta the office by 2:00pm today, yeahhhhh!
My Dad is bringing us Fish n Chips round tonight, I shall then chill infront of the TV with the wife :LilLove:

Saturday, I think I'm going to be dragged along to do the weekly shop :(
An awful smell has developed in my car so I may have to have a search inside to find out where it's coming from. I've nothing else planned but I'm sure I will find a few things round the house to get on with

Sunday, I need to fly up to Scotland for work on Monday and Tuesday so I think Mrs J40 is going to cook a nice Sunday roast. I will be ironing and packing and generally enjoying the Wifes company till she drops me off at the airport at 4:00pm. Sunday night I will be a lonely man in a Edinburgh hotel room

I hear people in Edinburgh are allowed out of the hotel. Is that just some unfounded rumor? ;)

Actually, it's hard to know what to do alone in a city. When Mr. Maryn had to travel, he would sometimes go to a movie, but only if he was sure it was one I didn't care about. That was pretty limiting.

You, of course, can always write! How long will you be there?

My weekend will be low-key. Mr. Maryn will no doubt work at home, leaving me to my own devices during the day. We have "The Help" from NetFlix, and may watch something Irish-themed one night if we can come up with anything for which we have sufficient enthusiasm. I'll probably cook somewhat more demanding meals, maybe try that cheddar-broccoli soup I just got the recipe for.

Please, everyone, try to contain your excitement at my thrilling life.

Maryn, glad to have no drama

Currently, my plans are not to die of anxiety while I wait for a response from a (normally) very fast market. (At four days now which makes me think that email box is going to light up any second now. Aaaaaany second.)

And clean the carpet upstairs today.

Maybe write in the evenings.

Aggy, tends to wing it every day

Today: Clean up the house for the family and nap... well, I'll try to stay up for the rest of the day, but I doubt I'll be able to. Dad and my bestie will be here around 2 or 3, then he is taking kids straight to the bowling alley so yay! Peace and quiet!!

Tomorrow: Not sure. A day with the family, that I know. I'm going to try to stay off of the internet. Let's see how well that goes.

Sunday: Work and prepare for my mom to come down, which means more cleaning.

See, there is no writing on my list. Have an awesome weekend!

Go grind some rocks. I do lapidary as a second hobby.

It's just the kind of thing that doesn't fully engage the brain, so I can do some dinosaur-brain thinking about exactly how I'm going to get RoseAnn out of the plot corner I've painted her into.

Friday Night: WII bowling tourney
Sat Night: Guests for dinner. I hope my wife cooks them well. I hate raw guests with white wine.

Sunday: rest and relaxation. Some work on this month's prompt.

Friday Night: Write up a reference maybe, then boozy sofa snooze.

Saturday. Take rubbish to the tip, still no wheelie Bin three months after complaining, then take Monkey to beach. Being allowed out for a few small pints later on in celebration of a most excellent job offer. Farewell long commute :hooray:

Sunday. Roast dinner in Yorkshire. Yom.

Estimated writing time. Zip

So much studying to do. I hope I do well on my test. At least I got some of my other homework done I think. So, it isn't entirely bad I guess.

I may try to write a short, but I don't know. We'll just have to see.

Tonight: Try and do another round of edits on my first three chapters without coughing up a lung.
Saturday: work on a synopsis and query letter.
Sunday: errands--groceries, laundry, house cleaning...

Happy Friday, everyone.
