Yes, whatever amount they ask for, they mean that amount from a properly formatted manuscript (double-spaced, 12-point font (times new roman or courier new), and 1-inch margins all the way around).

If in the email, just cut and paste that number of pages in.

If as an attachment, it's also good to give it a header with your email & the book's title, and the page number.
