The premise reads like House mashed up with Body of Proof.

So far, I'm unimpressed.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you, by the use of the word 'bonified' in the first para there. "A bonified hottie." For heaven's sake.

PS: Obviously this Sherlock will be not a patch on the recent BBC awesomeness. I am willing to go out on a limb and suggest it will be toss.

Interesting though that Jonny Lee Miller just got off a run in the West End in Frankenstein, alternating the roles of Viktor and the monster with none other than Benedict Cumberbatch.

Were they aiming for bona fide, or is this some American term I'm just not familiar with? :Wha:

Unless they were trying to be "cute" and go for something related to "boning"...in which case, Lucy Liu should be really offended.

I don't know if it's this or if she really doesn't know how to spell bona fide. Either way, it's pretty bad.

Okay so it is modern day, and Watson is not a former soldier. How exactly is this Sherlock Holmes?

And Sherlock is three guys with a mystery-solving cat, and the cat is psychic, and Mrs Hudson is the International House of Pancakes.

I think it's just she didn't know how to spell bona fide -- I can't accept a woman would knowingly make that kind of awful pun! Just... no. Worse, it's been days and they haven't bothered to edit it. Yikes.

As for Lucy Liu... interesting. I used to dislike her, but I've recently fallen in love with the show Southland and I like her there. But then, I'm not a die-hard Sherlock fan and I've never seen the BBC show, so there you go.

As long as they don't try to make it too much about sex appeal it should be fine, hopefully. Or it may ruin Sherlock Holmes forever...

Some part of me still longs for a female Holmes adaptation. As for Johnny Lee Miller, I was hoping they'd do a telemovie of his play version of Frankenstein with Benedict Cumberbatch, I wanted to see that so bad.

Um. I don't get it. It's not in London. It's not in the 19th Century. Watson is a woman.

Why the hell name it Sherlock Holmes? Really? Just name it something else since something else it is!

And who proclaimed Lucy Liu a hottie (bona fide or otherwise), anyway?

And when you all are referring to the brilliant BBC show, you are talking about Jeremy Brett, right?
