Hello AWers!

I have haunted this place's shadows for too long, and it's now time to come out into the open.
Yes, if you ever felt an evil presence hovering behind your backs, that was me! *insert manic laugh*

My name is Maddalena and I have been bitten by the... writing bug quite late in life, but the discovery was nonetheless exhilarating, and now that I intend to seriously walk this path – or at least try – I feel the need to share both its joys and woes with like-minded people.

This seems indeed the right place, and the best one.

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

Welcome Mad Ness. I too was a lurker long before I joined. And, for the most part, I still am. It's not that I don't want to contribute, rather, there are so many smart people here that there's little I can add.
BTW, I too started writing late in life....but it's never too late. Enjoy.
