um... I'm not actually brand new, I joined like two weeks ago but because of major shyness issues I avoided starting my own intro thread thing.

As for me, my name is Rachel (duh) and I'm 20 years old (but tend to act a whole lot younger). I'm not really a lifelong writer, but I do have a book idea about the mental illness that two of my friends went through (sort of a biography of one and an obituary of the other I guess) so I'm here for research/plausibility/ideas-bouncing. Oh and I like doing that stuff for other people too :).

So on that note, hi, and if you're some kind of tennis star/expert please message me!

I totally get the shy thing. I have to deal with that all the time. Like I'm kind of interested in what exact mental illness your friends dealt with, but I'm afraid to ask. Explaining that doesn't really display much tact on my part though. Sorry...

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.
