I've been seeing this on blogs and pages lately and was wondering, should I spell out my contact email address on my website instead of leaving it as a link?

I either use AT in text with a space on either side of AT or I use a graphic of the @ symbol.

There are ways of "masking" with Javascript, but I stopped using them because I had to keep changing the script.

I'm still getting mountains of spam, but they are much much smaller mountains.

I'm not that popular, so it's still just mostly encouragement to buy Viagra or to talk to some Russian girl on her webcam, but still... I think I'll change it.

I used to get about 8000 pieces of spam a day.

I'm down to around 800, just from masking email.

Mind, I still get the usual "I'm the last real druid," "The druids were all vegetarian," "The Christians burned all the druid's books," and "Your mother dresses you funny" emails.

Also, I have several complaints lodged against me from the Better Business Bureau. How I managed that, I can only imagine.
