Hi, guys!!

My name is Julia, I'm in my late 20-ish, I've been writing since I was in middle school...and I'm trying to get my books publish.

I am working on a YA trilogy called: The Touched series. I have some of the chapters on my blog. It already has a following and a facebook page so I guess I'm doing good.

Am looking for publishers though.

When it comes to writing, I'm all about action (sword fights and hand to hand combat) and friendship and familiar bonds. Romance is a given but it mostly takes a backseat to the action and character growth.

I am also looking for a writing group, someone to actually spazz and gripe and whine about deadlines, and characters, and cliffies. Anyone who'd like to chat, feel free to PM me!!!

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

Selamat siang, Julia, welcome. I attended a language school in Bali for a month and got to spend a few days in Jogja, loved it absolutely.

I live in two places. My hometown, Pekanbaru, Riau which is located in Sumatra and Yogyakarta (the place that has the Borobudur Temple) in Java.

Thank you so much for the compliment. Like any other country it has it's moments, like the last Mount Merapi eruption but it is truly beautiful. And the food is amazing.

Wow, hello there. Did you study Indonesian or Balinese? And yey, for Jogya, it is truly beautiful and peaceful, isn't it? It's a good place for a writer and an artist. It's much like Bali in that way.

I didn't come from Jogya or Yogya, whichever you spell it, but I came to love it as home.
