HELP! [Info needed, 1930s boarding schools]

So I've been trying to do some research for a new project some friends and I are working on, but I can't find any good material. Does anyone know some good good reference books/ sites that I can go to research 1930's boarding schools in the US/Great Britain? Everywhere I go I only get the histories of different schools, but nothing about things like curriculum or housing. I'm slowly going insane.

Thanks for the advice. I've been using scholar a lot the last couple of days, and I've found tons of material that's useful.
