Hey everyone!

I joined here to start mingling around the water cooler since we all share an interest in books. I would also say it's the right place to be since my career goal is to specialize in eBook development. So I which to offer my services to the community, and grow and develope with the community.

I'm originally from a pretty boring city in Sweden called Uppsala but I moved to a bigger city 3 years ago, the main capital of Estonia, Tallinn. The women here are beautiful, there's a lot to do and even though it has the pulse of a big city it's quite compact and centralized. Everything is within walking range if you live in the center and it's a beautiful city with an interesting mix of old and new architecture. The old town here is really special and is in the list of UNESCO's world heritage sites.

What else... I like to do new things so my weekend will consist of a visit to a martial arts fighting contest (I've never watched competitive fighting before in person) a flat party, and playing table tennis.

Nice to meet you all and cya around!

I loved Uppsala! I was only there for a few days, but I thought it was great! I would love to go to Estonia as well though, I've heard wonderful things about it from my Suomi friends who've visited there.

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

Welcome to Absolute Write!

Okay, Tallin is now officially on my list of places I'd like to visit. I love old world European architecture, and that picture is amazing!

Uppsala is nice for family life and for students beacuse a lot of resources are spent on them. The student part is one of the things that marks it on the international map. There's a lot of leisure activities for students, and the nightlife tops the options regular folk have in Uppsala (not a student, no entrance), and it is free to study at the university. So what I'm trying to say is go to Uppsala to study at the university or to live a nice economically safe family life. If you are in-between go somewhere else.

Oooo, lovely, I'd love to go! I've visited Uppsala too actually, I loved the beautiful cathedral, but I can imagine it's a bit dull if you aren't in school.

I've only just got here myself so 'welcome' isn't quite right, but hej!

Hi and :welcome:!! Wow, what a great pic! It reminds me Willy Wonka and the chocolate Factory--I wouldn't mind visiting at all :)
