question for the techies/ gamers. how often do you change your power supply in your pc if it's custom built?

i'm curious only because i think i may need to go buy a new one soon. mines a year old, at least.

No set amount of time. I certainly wouldn't change it out after just a year unless I had some reason to believe it was dying on me, or had changed other hardware and needed more power.

Alexys brings good info. What makes you think the Power Supply needs changing?

And, if there are symptoms, you might want to confirm that the power outlet isn't giving you dirty power.
