I swear I searched, but I didn't see the specific list of stores that I was after. (My search terms were either so general that they turned up everything, or so specific they turned up nothing.)

If I'm just a tool who can't use search properly, shut 'er down with my apologies. /sheepish

As of right now, I put my self-published ebooks up at:

Amazon
B&N
Smashwords
Omnilit AKA AllRomance
XinXii

I know of, but haven't tried Google Books (the process is confusing as hell and I don't know anyone who's made more than five dollars).

Are there more stores that take smut? Google is not helping me - listing lots of stores, but when I go to them, I don't see an option for self-pub types.

As someone who's fighting with Google Books at the moment, don't do it.

DriveThruFiction, maybe? I've heard of some other places, but I can't think of them. (I write non-smut speculative fiction, so sorry I can't be of more help.)

One thing to keep in mind. Easy time you upload on a new outlet, it takes time. Once you've uploaded to Amazon, BN, and smashwords, you've covered the big three for SP E media. Sit back and see how you book does for two months at those sites. If great then you've hit a niche and maybe worth while to try other outlets. I know author buds/budettes that did those three and their work didn't catch on for a particular novel but dids for others, so experiment a little. Your time is limited. JMO.

Once you create your own PDF, EPUB, & MOBI files (and some folks do EPUB for PubIt and MOBI for KDP) and have accounts on those other sites, the extra time's negligible, except for Google Books. (As I said earlier, I do not recommend them… unless you want to spend a few days fighting with the setup? No? Didn't think so.)

Since you're selling romance, you want to be on All Romance Ebooks. That should be a major market for you. All Romance Ebooks will also require you to upload your own PDF, EPUB, & MOBI files… so you'll already have what you need for upload to the other sites.

If you anticipate uploading several updates/revisions, you probably don't want to go through the rigmarole of all the vendors right now, but otherwise, I think it's worth the hassle. I've started doing it, myself.

Just my 2¢.
