Hi, I'm 20 years old and I am here because I just finished a book and I've been searching for an agent, while doing so I did a little background check on them (children's lit agency being one of them, thank you for that by the way) and I found this forum. I think after my sixth rejection letter I'm starting to doubt my story, I feel like I lost passion in everything else and this book it's all I have, so I feel like I am putting all my eggs on one basket .

I truly firmly believe that my book is something amazing that I've never read before so yeah, I'm just here to meet with other fellow writers and to take some advice. I've been going through some threads already and I have found some helpful tips.

ps. sorry for my typos in advance, english is not my first language.

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

Howdy. I'm new here myself. I have an agent. Took a long time, and I still decided to publish it myself. You may want to look into publishing your book to Kindle and smashwords just as an ebook, then you can make some money while you are waiting on that agent. It may be a while (or it may not). Either way, hope this all works out well for ya.

really? sounds cool but I don't know if I could do that, my book is not 100% finished, so I'd need an editor first I think just to make sure.
