Hail and well met, fellow wordsmiths!

My name is Megan, and I'm a bit of an amateur writer. I just finished the first draft of my first book, a collaboration with my husband. (He's SoulzBaen on the forums here). I work as a photo technician for a big name corporate dungeon, and write in my spare time. I'm a mom of 2 (a 5 year old boy and a 3 year old girl), and been married for 6 years next month.

Other than that, I have multiple other stories in the works, books and stories that have popped into my head over the years and I've worked on off and on over the years.

I am always looking for good ideas, good advice and good friends who understand the joys and the agonies of writing.

Hello, and welcome to AW! Congrats on finishing your first draft, I finished the first draft of my first novel not too long ago as well. :)

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.
