I'm posting this in Romance, because I came across it on a Romance publisher's site and I've been laughing ever since!
If you want to submit to this publisher, you have to fill out a form: and boy are they thorough! There is one little box where you have to check in what person the MS is written, and they actually have "second person" as an option and another box which gives you the option between "past, present and future tense"!
And I was wondering...just how amusing it would be to write a romantic novel in the second person and future tense??? Something along the lines of:
"You will look into his eyes and you will feel your heartbeat accelerating and he will gaze back and take you in his arms...etc, etc.."
Now how's that for a writing exercise?
