I'm experimenting with different types of marketing, including the creation of two new blogs for two of my ebooks. I plan to add new articles to each several times a week, since I'm very familiar with the topics. I figure it might earn some sales once they get in search engines, and I also put Adsense on them. Has anyone else had some success with this sort of thing? Here's how I'm doing it:
This one, for my credit repair book, has been out there for a few days so it has several articles already: http://freebadcreditrepair.blogspot.com/
Just started this one, so there's only one article; it's for my home-based travel agency book: http://ownatravelagency.blogspot.com/
I'm trying to make the articles truly useful. I see these not just as marketing vehicles for the books (although that's a primary goal), but also as good information sources on their own, which should make me at least a bit of $ on Adsense (I hope). I won't be doing a blog for all my books because I could never keep up with that. I already have platforms for most of what I plan to write, but there might be one more blog in the future if this works out well.
