I just heard Glenn Lord passed away. He worked tirelessly to preserve the work of Robert E. Howard and present it to new generations of readers around the world. He always showed the highest respect for REH and his writing.

One of my inspirations to write is REH's tales of thrilling adventure, and without Glenn Lord I don't know if I'd have made the acquaintance of so many of REH's creations (other than Conan): Bran Mak Morn, El Borak, Solomon Kane, the Sonora Kid, Black Vulmea, and many others.

I count myself fortunate to have been able to tell Glenn how much I respected him and appreciated his hard work on behalf of REH.
