I've been participating in this since the beginning. Lots of fun, honest critique and a chance to be published in an upcoming issue of Shock totem.
It's a bi-monthly flash (1000 words or less) contest. Once you sign up, on Jan 1, we will be allowed into a secret room where the prompt can be viewed. You have a week to write the best story possible.
After that week is over. Those who submit get to read, critique and vote on that month's winner. A special guest will view each winner of the 5 contests (Jan, March, May, July, Sept) and pick a winner to be published in Shock Totem.
I really love this contest, and wanted each of you to have a chance to try it out.
