It's long [5,000 titles, and took me an hour to read.]

Quite a few surprises, and some entries that amused me [such as Rosemary Sutcliff outselling modern writers of Roman Historicals.]

Just goes to show how misleading hype can be. I had always thought Simon Scarrow was the no.1 selling writer of Roman historicals. The top selling title however belongs to Ben Kane [who I prefer far more.] :)

I don't know what is happening over at The Guardian. I've just been on there and the website froze several times. I think they may have crashed.

Just remember that Nielsen counts only certain sales. Any writer can make a LOT of sales that never show up on Nielsen, so you need more info to know who really is or isn't the top seller in any genre.
