Yeah, like Borderlands, it's a good step forward, but even these games are still packed with white folk.

That's been a problem with WH40K for a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggg time...

And yeah, it bugs the hell out of me too.

Well it's kind of justifiable from a lore perspective, what with the Space Marines all being products of the same genes.
The Imperial Guard should have more variety though.

When it comes to badass females, let us not forget the Adepta Sororitas.

We're moving towards a more diverse time in gaming. I mean, at least Borderlands, L4D, etc. have female AND non-white character options.

Hopefully people will become more and more interested in more diverse characters (for all media, not just games), and I can swim in a sea of choices!

I haven't really followed 40k as I'm not so big on the fantasy-in-space, but it's always refreshing to hear people talk about what developers are getting right, rather than constantly focusing on what they're doing wrong.
