Would you consider an e-publisher?

For your children's book? And firstly, is there such a thing as an e-publisher for children's books? I'm thinking they might be more popular for chapter/transition books and up rather than with picture books for obvious reasons.

If you would consider one, who would it be and why? I don't think I'd mind submitting my current multicultural transition book to a small press, because it's a pretty niche topic and because I'm more interested in raising awareness than making a name for myself in this genre (I'd rather write middle grade--I sort of wrote this one for my kids and kids like them).

Any thoughts? :e2BIC:

I would. Haven't done enough research to know which, but I know they're out there.

Thanks, Debbie. I'm having a hard time finding pubs who might be a good match because of the strong multicultural thread in my story. I've found that those types of books almost have their own "style," much different from mainstream kids' books.
