Not where you last saw me.
Oh my! Thanks for the link, AC. Of course, seeing those photos didn't help my decision to whittle down the number of different types of cookies I bake this year.

Make those Chunky Chocolate Brownies and I'll help you eat them.

I'm sorry; I don't think I'll be making brownies this year.* :(

Last year I made 11 types of cookies, a dark fruit cake and two cream pies. This year I've whittled it down to:

Cheesecake (Alton Brown's recipe)
Choc. Fudge
Rugalach
Mexican Wedding Cakes
White & Dark Chocolate Peppermint Bark
Southern Comfort Balls
Raspberry Shortbread cookies
Chocolate Mint Wafers

*But, if I change my mind on the brownies, I'll keep you in mind.

Every year I swear to cut down my list, then I see something like this, and begin itching to do more. Those turtle cookies look good. Thanks for the ideas...

Mexican Wedding Cakes, a must, I also do the peanut butter blossom type cookie, only instead I make them with cherries, not peanut butter. And a brown sugar shortbread filled with raspberry or apricot.

You know what, AC? If you keep tormenting me with these links, I'll be sending a note to Krampus!

I'll just give him a cookie and he'll be fine.

Or . . . I'll kick his butt.

AW. A very nice place!
... don't forget to leave a plate of cookies out on the mantel for Santa along with a glass of milk.

A dark, evil place.
Oh, my Dawg, but that looks good. And I'm not even a big sweets guy.

Off in my head.
Oh dear.
The last couple of years I didn't do much in the way of sweets for the holidays as I lacked a good over and my stove is a cast iron camping stove, which requires a propane tank. . .
But this year I have plenty of fuel and a good oven so I have been making sweets:

Peanut butter cookies
Snicker-doodles (was out of cinnamon so used cocoa powder instead)
Gingersnaps
Dump cake
Little cheesecakes
Chocolate bavarois

And my list includes more to make. . .
