HEY!
any one can help me in edit four chapter for my novel because I writer who I paid for her to edit my novel just put excuses and I pay for her all paid and she try to ignor me and I have one agent accept the novel and he want it in hard copy and cd so I realy nead help I dont want lost this chance... so if any one can help and I will pay for him / her... please Im waiting your replay

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say English isn't your first language.

If you have written your own book, then why do you need another writer to edit it? If an agent is showing interest, then they'll want to know you can produce your own work.

Why is an agent asking for a copy on CD? I've never heard of this before. Hard copy is quite common and usually you would send a soft copy by e-mail but not CD. Not seeing this as a problem per se but I am curious as to their reasons for asking for that format.

It sounds like what you actually need is a beta reader. You generally don't pay these save in kind. If you want to pay someone, seek out a reputable professional editor which is what I think you beleived you hired. There are threads in here where you can ask for recommendations. Usually the deal is that you pay the editor on completion of the work to your satisfaction.

I saw one agent in uk and they interseted about my novel, they dont accept any queries in email... I dont send it and the last 4 chapters not edit so I want one help...

I have 23 chapters and my editor just take money and ignor me in the last chapters so any one want to helpme in edit this 4 chapters, I realy need it ..

Are you translating from one language to English and have appraoched an English publisher with half of the translation?

I once edited a 30,000-word masters thesis on agriculture by a Norwegian with shaky English. I'm sure this will be easier. :tongue

Hehe, and I did the same thing for a Dutch friend, but it was in business. Told him when he made his first million, he owes me ten grand. I am still waiting.

And to the op, what publisher is waiting so anxiously? Can you share the name with us?
