Short Story Writing Thread - New Topics Posted Every Day

SummerSurf, the Short Fiction board is not a place for posting excerpts of one's fiction. There are a few reasons for this, but one of the main ones is that anybody can see what's posted in this subforum, and it could leave people open to their work being stolen, which we'd hate to happen.

If you're looking for help with your story, a good idea is to read lots of the threads in the SYW forums (password 'vista'). From the advice given to others about things like structure and style and dialogue, you'll likely be able to improve your own writing.

Please read the Newbie Guide and take some time to settle into the community. You'll find it's well worth it.
