So I've had several small journals where I published shut down, and of course the archives containing my stories were deleted.
It happens, especially with e-zines, but one editor never even informed the authors. I just now discovered it had gone, and it upset me because it was one of my proudest short story publications to date. I'd planned to print a copy. Now that's impossible.
My question is, is it appropriate to resubmit at this point? Would other publications still consider it a re-print, thus limiting my options?
A little depressed about this. Advice?
