In an effort to promote the next great comedy series, The Twigs, I have produced a pilot (written, directed, acted, makeup...) and I'm now seriously hungry for representation.

I've concluded testing for the film: 100% of our viewers/critics are people I have never met face to face. Scripts and treatments for an entire season are ready for filming/screening, but I need help from the "World Wide Web" to find the right partner for my journey.

It's a clever comedy focusing on the adventures of backwoods stoners Copper and Joe.

I am investigating the film festival route, but I understand pilot season is prime and want to get this laugh-a-thon in front of the right eyes.

Thank you all for your help and contributions to this site.

You missed AFM? That would have been a prime place to take it. Do you see it as a Cable or Broadcast franchise?

My targets are Comedy Central/FX... can I dream and mention HBO?

The Twigs offers it all... vulgar language, comedic ignorance and even a "hanging joint"

A heads up on my experience from the past few days.

I have a 99.9% complete project (actually working on splicing the original theme music into the work) and it's all done.

I truly believe I've hit something that could score a development deal.

Long story short, using IMDB, I started emailing people, actors and directors with experience in the sort of niche I'm trying to dig myself into. I email one very prominent director/producer and, the very same night, I get a reply.

Didn't waste a second. Explained how said director has influenced my life, briefly, and then grabbed his attention with a tease of The Twigs, a funny tease that I knew he would relate with, laugh at, and want more.

On Wednesday, I had no clue what to do next. It's Thursday evening and I've just signed a waiver and will be sending the work over to him this weekend for his personal opinion and, perhaps, how he can help me take that next step.

Thought I would update you all. Appreciate everything every poster contributes to the site.

All the best.

Excellent news! Good luck.

Thanks. He may love it or hate it, but he's promised to be honest and that's all I can ask for... well, besides a few laughs.... and a multi-million dollar development deal, but that's all I want!
