The title alone! This has nothing to do with Poe's poem The Raven, from what I've heard and can tell it will be based more on The Murders in the Rue Morgue.
I don't even like Poe that much, but if I had to turn to a classical writer to be an action hero, Poe would not be my first choice, and probably not my fiftieth either. I'm not even sure I know that many classical authors, but a gambling drunk who was a caustic critic and something of an egomaniac would not be anywhere near the top of my list.
I guess Anonymous wasn't enough and the film industry plans to go through every classic writer and somehow turn their life stories into thriller films.
