I've finally finished some revisions on my YA adventure novel GEARS, a post-apocalyptic western sci-fi fusion. Imagine V FOR VENDETTA meets, I guess, THE FAST & THE FURIOUS?
For those of my YA writer friends, yes, this is the one I've been talking about!
It is roughly 70,000 words. It is not on submission yet and my agent has not read it yet, either, so I am looking for some hard-core feedback, ranging from plot-centric appraisals, character reviews, and even typos if you find 'em.
Normally I would offer to beta-swap but this winter I have agreed to take on more reading already than I might be able to handle (doh), so if you can wait until February for me to take a look through your project, then definitely I would love to do that. I've already done some beta reading for AW people here so I can get referrals probably.
Otherwise, looking for readers - boys and girls, ladies and dudes - for honest critique. Since I am busy through January I also don't need this anytime soon so you could take your time. Turnaround isn't important to me.
