First chapter line critique? YA Spec-Fic

I'm doing some heavy re-writes on an edgy YA spec fic. I want to get a few line by line critiques on my first chapter.

It's just under 3,000 words.

I know I could post it in SYW, but I don't want to

So if anyone has time to read, or perhaps a first chapter swap, send me a PM.

I'd prefer if you haven't read any of the extracts over at the YA SYW. There are a lot of notable differences and I really want first impressions instead of comparisons.

From what I've read, this work is phenomenal. I doubt you'll have any trouble finding a BETA.

I haven't read, md, but have been intrigued by some of the mentions I've seen you make of it.

I don't read much spec fic, so if you want someone who is intimately familiar with the genre, I'm not your lady, but I certainly can crit for pacing, writing, and all that fun jazz.

you're not interested in swapping with MG contemp are you? i think i remember seeing somewhere else where you said no MG ...
