Giant viruses too

Those are way bigger than the giant viruses they just discovered. The xenophyrophluteo-whatsits get up to 4 inches. The viri are 0.7 micrometers. Still, "giant virus" gives one pause. "Giant amoeba" is rather bizarre in its own right. Interestingly the virus infects deep-sea amoebas.
