What's the genre?

What would you call a NF story about an event/trip/time in your life that was interesting/funny? It feels like a memoir is too touchy/feely.

Is there a genre that similar to a memoir, but doesn't have that stigma of being too serious? I'm not here to make you cry, but laugh.

Or maybe I'm overthinking it.

I never thought of "Neither Here Nor There" (Bill Bryson) as serious. It's considered a travel memoir but it's really funny.
