Many publishers like monogamous relationship books i.e. MC sleeps only with 2nd MC. And I've only written characters together in a non-swinging relationship.
How do you encourage a non-monogamous (is that the right word?) relationship within a WIP so the reader doesn't consider it cheating?
My current project has the MC and 2nd MC getting very close, but I have it in the plans for the MC to get a little cozy with a different main character later on, while still feeling close to the 2nd MC.
