Since the Beeb are cutting their budgets, this means more repeats. Is this automatically a bad thing? I'd rather watch a repeat of Monty Python than some pile of crap with talentless gits who think they can sing or Z-list celebrities humiliating themselves in a desperate attempt to keep their fame going.

On the other hand, it could mean the return of dross like Terry and June. :rant:

having inadvertently discovered that BBC2 is going to be repeating 'Desperate Romantics' (starring the lovely Aidan Turner as D.G.Rossetti) I have no problem with this policy :D

They are already being repeated on ITV3. I would also like to see repeats of MP and some of the classics the Beeb has produced.

At least we have a new Red Dwarf series to look forward to on Dave!1

Jeez. If they need the cash, maybe they shouldn't be so stingy with the licensing of programming to BBC America. (And yes, I understand they're tied to the charter, etc.)
