Spacing problem

Frequently when I open a file the spacing between paragraphs has increased to double and sometimes triple. Why does this happen and what can I do to prevent it? Any suggestions? Doc

File type/program? Operating System?

I'm betting you're using Word 2007.

You need to change the Format > Paragraph settings to not add an extra space between paragraphs. You also need to change it on your "normal" document template so the same problem doesn't happen on every new file you create.
