Yes, it's her fault that I'm here.

I actually joined in February, but I'm not sure why I didn't just jump in then. A did a couple days ago, only to get caught up in the Great Migration, whereupon al my posts (all 4 or 5 of them!) vanished...

Since Dawno is pretty spiffy and thinks AW is pretty spiffy, I decided it was time to come be spiffy, too...

em, if you start that cult will I be getting any "offerings"? I'm particularly fond of frosted sugar cookies. The kind you buy at grocery stores - around my house we call them "lard cookies." MMMMMYummy

I should know better. I'm just so used to calling you Thumper, and when you came here as kathompson for some reason my brain said "Kathy". Now I'm all embarassed. Please feel free to just call me what ever random names strike your fancy.

Moondancer, it's a family thing. I'm the oldest and I was always getting into something. Eventually everything got to be my fault, mostly in fun. At some point in my life I just threw up my hands and said "Yes, yes! It's all my fault, everything since I was born is my fault! Remember Sputnik? Blame Dawno. The Cuban Missile Crisis? You name it!"

It was funny (to me) because just a couple days ago I wrote a blog post about being called Kathy.

You'd think that someone sending an email query would make sure they knew the publisher's name before firing off a Please Publish Me note...

I had it figured out anyway that your name wasn't Kathy. It looked to me like your last name was Thompson, and therefore your initials were K.A.
