Hello AW! I'm Janice. I've been lurking in AW for a while and decided to come play. I write YA and Middle Grade. I usually go for fantasy but I've been known to dip into horror.

I have a YA that is mostly finished. Hopefully It'll be ready to send out to agents in a few months. It is a fractured fairy tale where the girl accidently turns the boy of her dreams into a frog.

I am currently working on a gothic fantasy from a boy's perspective. I've never tried a boys perspective and it's been a fun learning experience. This book has ghosts and fey creatures that like to kill people. No fairies with rainbow wings. lol

I'm looking forward to jumping into the forums. I just sprained both my ankles so I have plenty of time to do so while I put my feet up and hope the swelling goes down. Plus I can't fit into any of my shoes. I'm not going anywhere.

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.
