I've been lurking for a while and I've decided it's about time I joined the community. I am a freelance web content writer, at least that's how I pay the bills. My real passion is fiction, science-fiction to be exact. Completing a novel is a goal that's always eluded me, but it's about time I got serious about it and start laying the foundation for my first real foray into sci-fi literature.

I'm looking forward to checking out the community's work and improving my own in the process, you guys seem like a friendly and helpful bunch. :D

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

Absolute Write.

Don’t forget to read the FAQ regarding posting pictures at AW.


Members who want to start a thread in Share Your Work to have work critiqued need
50 posts. So take some time to greet fellow newbies, critique other members’
works, or join a discussion.

Welcome! Stop planning to write a book and start writing! Even if you only write 500 words a day, it'll get done eventually. Of course then you'll have to revise. But that's why we're here!

Heh, my father is Kirk S and I am Kyle S, my first screenname ever was Kstanki2 because my father took Kstanki- and I just stuck with it :tongue
