I stumbled upon this website through a reference from a blog post, and I am delighted to be here. I look forward to getting to know this site and the people who populate it!
A little about me and my writing:
In preschool, I was the kid who had to be pulled out of the dress-up area and reinserted into real life. Often, dress-up with me ended up being something like a play - with me directing the shots. As I got older and more literate, it turned into writing, although there are a number of daydreams that float around my head - usually more than one at once.
Much of my writing has been fanfiction - Star Trek, Star Wars and Harry Potter, specifically. Inspired by worlds created by others, I tried my hand at a little corner of their universes. I've dabbled in my own creations, to greater or lesser success, and now interested in talking to other writers and figuring out what my next steps are.
Looking forward to exploring this corner of the internet!
