Hello world!

My name is Laura, and I joined this site because a YA writer friend of mine raves about it all the time, and I thought hey, why not?

I'm in college so I don't have much time for creative writing (outside of schoolwork of course), but when I do write, my main scene is poetry, with some creative writing/personal essaying thrown in there too.

I'm excited to see what this place has to offer me :)

50 posts. So take some time to greet fellow newbies, critique other members’

How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

When you say "awhile," what do you mean exactly? I'm only asking because I'm eager to get feedback for my work, but I don't want to step on anyone's toes...
