Andrew MacDonald here, living off-grid in the wilds of Canada . . . I wrote a book for young men I never published and now want to. I'm thinking that the real audience may be their mothers, or their fathers, though it's not written to them.

I'm hoping to pick up some marketing smarts, and marketing confidence here. Also am writing on DIY meditation and new social innovations - building local community, small groups.

Part of me feels I should just "do it myself" and that talking here could be a waste of time. I want to finish and get some stuff out and maybe some connections here can bind me to that goal.

Looking forward to meeting you!
Andrew

Texas will always be home... but dreaming of Hawai
Howdy, Andrew.
Could I actually be the first to welcome someone for the first time!?
Either way,
Welcome!

P.S. My current life dream is to live completely off grid, in the lava fields on the Big Island of Hawaii!
Some day....

Welcome to the cooler, Andrew.

I'm sure your find useful information here, regardless. I'm new to the board too, and have already found this forum to be very insightful.

As far as your young mens book, I guess that really depends on the content and how it's written(or geared towards), really. That's just my opinion and I hope you don't take it as harsh criticism. I'm sure your figure it out.

Good luck in your writing journeys, and I hope to see you around the forum!

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.
