Help! I tried to put in pictures of my book covers in my signature, but they showed up humongous! That was just in the preview--I never saved it because I didn't know if it would shrink them down, or they'd stay huge and really piss of the mods! The original pics are too big, I guess, but I have NO idea how to shrink them down. Any suggestions? Thanks!

If you want to do it yourself, you can use a free program like www.gimp.org, as it's not that complicated.

Or you can ask someone to do it for you. It takes about 10 seconds to do it anyway ;)

If you have Adobe Elements, that's great. Elements not only shrinks pictures, but degrades their quality from print to web, which greatly reduces their KBs. A picture can lose a ton of quality, without it being noticeable from a computer monitor (but it would be noticeable if the pic were printed out).

Unfortunately I don't have PS Elements, just GIMP, and I'm still lost using that. But I'm able to get my covers made, so I'm happy with it.
