I'm not quite sure how I got here but I'm glad I did. I might have travelled via Irene, but I've no fancy shoes and I don't think I've landed on a witch, have I?

I'm new to writing for a living, but not to writing for kicks. I'm working on starting a blog, and taking a couple of classes through the UMass Amherst's online journalism program. You know what I like best about writing? When I'm thinking hard and the kids ask me what I'm doing, I get to tell them that I'm working on my next article.....it's a great life, so far.

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.
