Hello! I just found these forums a couple of days back and I'm looking forward to getting involved in the discussions.

I've pursued writing in an erratic, more off-than-on way over the past 20+ years. Recently, I've jumped back into writing in a major way. I've been enjoying the creative process and also communicating with other writers. Part of that has been starting a blog focused around topics which I think could be of interest to fellow writers.

I primarily write science fiction, fantasy, horror, and mystery/crime fiction. All of my writing to date has been short-form -- my longest story is just under 10k words. However, I fully intend to write a YA fantasy novel during this year's NaNoWriMo.

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.

@CarrieAnn, yep, it's me! Figured I'd keep the same picture everywhere.

@Meira, I hope that NaNo is fun. Right now, it still seems vaguely scary. But I know I want to do it, too!
