Hello friends!

I've been excited to meet some fellow writers on the internet and just became acquainted with this forum. Seems like a great place to be.

A few tidbits about myself:

I'm a professional artist ( http://www.bryanbeus.com ), I've had a middle-grade novel signed for publication––but it's still going through major revisions––and I'm a vanilla ice-cream connoisseur P:

I'm total bibliophile; I imagine everyone on here is.

For fiction I particularly like old-school epic fantasy, Arthurian legend, and anything middle-grade whimsy. Otherwise I have a ravenous appetite for books that have anything to do either with early Christianity and/or ancient Asian lifestyles and arts.

Mindful meditation (and also Tai Chi, recently) is a daily activity in my life and I love learning about Zen.

Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Welcome.

I'll recommend a book for you since you're interested in Zen (and possibly Zen related training): Autumn Lightning.

Welcome.

Nice artwork, very atmospheric and a nice sense of humor. I didn't poke around your site too much, but do you work in pastels?

I'm an artist, too, btw, but not actually a writer.

Welcome to AW. Hope you enjoy your stay with us.
How do you like your popcorn?

If you go to the bottom of the page to the 'forum jump' you can scroll down and find all the areas of this place. After you post 50 posts you can use the SYW areas to get help there. The password for some of the areas is…..vista. A word to the wise, it would be a good idea to participate first in helping others before you think about posting your own work. After you have been around here for awhile, then post something of your own for help. Good luck.
